0.4.6
Desktop 0.4.6 ships with Android companion 0.2.11, build 13. Update the phone from Settings > Update first, then update the desktop from the Help menu. Both updates are needed for the new phone features. This release covers Windows and Android.
Phone chat
- Screenshot previews load automatically throughout the conversation, newest first, and tapping a picture opens full resolution. Older captures without a preview still offer tap to load.
- When saved history is available, reopening the phone shows the conversation and pictures while it reconnects. A Refreshing… banner marks the saved history, and sending becomes available when the desktop connects.
- Your unsent message and scroll position survive brief connection interruptions.
- Pictures and video excerpts you open are saved for reuse. Video downloads cannot push the saved conversation or its previews out of storage.
- Automatically saved conversation and media are encrypted. Unpairing removes access to that saved history, while files you sent to another app with Save remain with that app.
- Android's saved app-switcher preview hides the conversation. On Android 12 and earlier, this also blocks screenshots and screen sharing.
Desktop chat
- Finished turns fold multiple actions into one expandable summary. Failed actions remain visible in its count.
- Approval requests that reach outside the open project name the destination project or folder when it can be identified.
Account website
- Teams can require new members to turn on two-factor authentication before joining. Pending invitations are now visible only to team owners and admins.
- Team invitation batches support up to 25 addresses and show how long to wait if you reach the sending limit.
See Manage your team.
Known startup delay
The first launch after installing or updating can be slow. On a busy machine, it can hit the ten-minute startup limit before the editor opens.
