0.4.15

Changes since 0.4.6.

Editing

  • Select clips forward across unlocked tracks with the new Track select forward tool, shortcut A. Hold Shift when clicking to select backward instead.
  • Click the playhead timecode to type a position, or click the frame count to jump to a frame. Use - and = to zoom the timeline out and in.
  • Right-click a timeline clip to reveal its source in the Media panel, view module results, relink missing media, or manage its proxy.
  • Camera Selection now lets you rank camera types and remembers the order per project. When clips are selected, the dialog starts with selected-clip scope.
  • AI auto-pick in Retake Review chooses preferred takes and disables the other takes with their linked clips on unlocked tracks. It requires a saved project, an eligible account plan, and a TypeSafe API key.
  • Transcript review's Play button now includes the surrounding context words.
  • Agentic Rough Cut's API-key route now uses Anthropic. Its Claude Code route requires Claude Code 2.1.280 or later. See Rough Cut setup.

Chat and accounts

  • Desktop Agent chat now defaults to GPT-6 Luna for OpenAI API-key conversations.
  • Scroll upward in desktop chat to load older messages. Chat pictures and video excerpts stay with the project's saved chat files.
  • Agent answers support formatted tables, lists, quotes, and copyable code blocks.
  • Your account has a profile picture, and you can upload your own on the account website. Team owners and admins can open member details and use the security controls available for that member.

Updates and fixes

  • App updates download in the background. Save your project and choose Restart now when ready, or let the downloaded update install when you quit.
  • Automatic proxies are now optional under Preferences… > Import, independently of background face and motion analysis.
  • Startup and Windows updates do less repeated preparation work.
  • Rough Cut rejects new ratings if the transcript changes during analysis. Motion-based edits ask you to rerun analysis when its input has changed.
  • Face Tracking better rejects faces in static artwork. Fixed a Linux playback issue that could run too fast and drop audio.

See the manual for the updated controls.
